PNC Bank Robbery

On January 31, 2017, an unidentified suspect walked into the PNC Bank, 1530 W. First Ave, Columbus, Ohio and passed a note to a bank employee that demanded cash. The suspect stated that he had a bomb in a bag that he was holding. The bank employee complied with his demands, and the suspect left eastbound after placing the bag by the exit doors.

The Columbus Fire Bomb Squad was requested to respond. After inspection, it was determined that there were not any explosive devices at the scene.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, possibly in his 50’s, approximately 6’1”–6’3”, and 180-200 lbs, with short black and gray hair. He was wearing a tan hat, black coat with small logo on the left chest area, and blue jeans.
