Responsibilities
The Board of Health oversees the health services provided to the community by Franklin County Public Health, including:

• Immunizations for children and adults
• Food service inspections
• School inspections
• Nuisance control

The Board of Health is committed to monitoring the health status of the community, protecting residents from disease and injury, assuring a safe and healthy environment, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
