The Grandview Parks and Recreation Department:
  • Provides recreation, educational and fitness programs for all ages
  • Maintains approximately 45 acres of park lands and green spaces
  • Organizes and/or supports community special events

The Parks and Recreation Department also:
  • Cares for the City's street and park trees
  • Operates the Municipal Pool
  • Rents the two shelter houses to citizens and organizations
  • Maintains the seasonal skate park
  • Oversees the Wallace Gardens community garden plots
  • Maintains all recreation facilities
  • Operates under the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
  • Offers youth and adult programs in Parks and Rec Brochure

Sports - View sporting opportunities for youth and adults.

2009 Street Tree Sales begin August 10th through August 21st please call 488-3111 to order a tree or if you need specific information please call Mike McKee, City Arborist 481-6201.

Come join us for the Annual Mayor's Cookout!  There will be food, family sports, entertainment and lots of fun as you get the opportunity to meet fellow residents from all of Grandview Heights.  Due to limited parking we encourage everyone to walk to the cookout.  The cookout will be held on Sunday, August 16th, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm., at Wyman Woods Shelter.
