Annual Property Condition Inspections

To:                  All Homeowners, Property Owners, Occupants, Tenants, etc. - for all residential & commercial properties

From:             Grandview Heights Building and Zoning Department

Re:                  Grandview Heights Building and Zoning Department officials will be performing our annual property condition inspections to identify properties not in compliance with our City Ordinances.

During the spring and summer of 2018 - the Building and Zoning Department will be

performing our typical annual property maintenance inspections for deteriorated

property conditions (as well as sidewalks) in need of replacement(s), repair(s), removal(s)

and/or are in violation of our City Ordinances.  These inspections will focus on

the conditions of buildings, accessory structures, sidewalks, alleys, fences, lawns,

excessive debris accumulation(s) & overall general property maintenance.

This memorandum is a reminder to all property owners to review their property for

items in need of general maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or removal to help keep

the high quality condition of our Grandview Heights properties.

To help prevent violation citations from being issued for any conditions in need of

repair, or replacement and/or removal - please be pro-active and perform your own

exterior premises spring cleaning & property condition assessment and related

simple repairs.  (Permits are required for sidewalk, roofing, and siding replacements.)

(Please contact us for any other permit requirement determinations – (614) 481-6220.)
